Nifle’t is too hard, a wonder beyond you. The line says it is not that.
It is not in the heavens, so that you would say, Who will go up to the heavens for us and take it for us and let us hear it, so that we do it?
And it is not across the sea, so that you would say, Who will cross to the other side of the sea for us and take it for us and let us hear it, so that we do it?
For the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, so that you do it.

I declare to you today that you shall perish, perish. You shall not lengthen days on the soil that you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess.
I call the heavens and the earth to witness against you today. I have set life and death before you, the blessing and the curse. You shall choose life, so that you live, you and your seed,
